Terms, conditions of the service and privacy policy
By registering to the activities proposed by LAREFA, you accept the terms, conditions and regulations of the activities highlighted below. Details about the protection of personal information are also reported in this page.
Responsibility
Absolute safety does not exist in the mountains, hiking is not without dangers (including the potential risk of injury and death), even if accompanied by an international mountain leader. The leader undertakes to make weighted assessments and take reasonable decisions by informing the client of these, however he will never be able to exclude any risk. This is why the customer's sense of responsibility is also crucial for maintaining a good level of security. By registering for an activity, you accept the residual risk margin implicit in the activity itself, thus renouncing any claim for compensation for damages and attributing responsibility to the leader.
Insurance
The LAREFA accompaniment service includes insurance for all its customers who are not CAI (Italian Alpine Club) members which covers search and recovery costs in Europe in case of necessity and emergency (repatriation not included). However, LAREFA invites participants to always take out personal coverage for all your mountain outings, for example through one of the various well-known bodies: Dolomiti Emergency, CAI, etc. LAREFA also recommends that you also take out an adequate accident and travel policy relating to the sport activities undertaken.
Unsuitable mountain conditions
LAREFA leader is the only person responsible for evaluating the conditions of the mountain and therefore, during the excursion and in the presence of adverse conditions, can modify the execution of the same at his own discretion. Also undertakes to cancel the hike in the event of adverse weather/mountain conditions. It will be the care and attention of the leader to propose possible alternative destinations of the same characteristics to the original hike. If this is not agreed, credit will be made for any advance amount, for a future exit or fully reimbursed. This decision will be made in mutual agreement with the customer. Safety is of the highest priority and the leader never guarantees the summit or completion of the hike, however much he will work to make the hike successful.
Program cancellation or change
The leader can cancel or modify the program or the itinerary, at his own discretion, at any time, both for the conditions in the previous point, if the psychophysical conditions of the clients make it necessary and also due to leader phisical/healt condition.
Cancellation by the customer
The right of withdrawal is excluded, pursuant to art. 59, paragraph 1, lett. n) of Legislative Decree 6 September 2005, n. 206 (Consumer Code). According to this provision, the right of withdrawal is excluded in the event of the purchase of services relating to leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period of execution. There are no exceptions in the event of contagion from Covid-19
